Will Beasley
Ive seen groups of 20 to 30 around the beach trees the last week!!! Not much action on the fields  All starting on Acorns and Beechmast here too. Theyre still feeding on grain as well which is good but I see trouble ahead :good:
Keith
Same experince in Herts y'ay. First shoot on my permission. Quite a few pigeons around but not with obvious flight lines. A few flocks of 15-20 birds flying around but not inerested in deeks at all. Lots of beech trees and beech mast around the fields so that's probably why. Got five woodies and a magpie in 2.5 hours. Good start though. Then back to see the england front row crush the convicts - great props game. Didn't see any muntjac around but good wooded areas for them. How easy is it to get a FAC if you have a shotgun cert and permission - as I fancy a go at them and the farmer has told me I can shot any pests and also lamp on his land if a have a FAC. codling99
dont need a sgc to get a fac, might help, but doubt it.all you need is land good enough to shoot over with fac of your choice, the usual signatures ,and farmers signature and good reason to want and use one,and a good record with police. p.s. heard a rumour, that sometime soon, your gonna need a dsc1 to shoot deer
Keith
even pest species like muntjac?
invector
They're all pests of some sort or another, but muntjac are deer, and are subject to the usual rules.
