Guest georgehare
Just bought a second hand Tikka m590 (.243) from a keeper i know. Its mint condition had less that 100 rounds through it and chequering on the wood is still sharp. Its the heavy barrelled version. Its got a Meopta 6x42 scope on it. Does anyone have any experience with either... cheers GH P.s i paid £400 for the lot
Dunkield
I use a 7x50 Meopta on my rimfire, nice scope I like it. The only downside for me is the thin crosshairs, great for seeing small targets but they can dissapear in low light. My mate bought a Tikka M590 in 6.5x55 and it was terrible, definitely had a cheqered past, he chopped it in against a Sauer 202. Yours has a known past, so it should be lot better, they aren't that disimilar to the M595 they just have a shorter barrel. At that price it was a steal anyways, the scopes are £250 ish new and the rifle would have been about £3-400 new.
