starlight32
Anyone please correct me if I am wrong. I am moving on from the old money system in my life and thought I would post these. If this is ok could it be pinned? 1 oz- 28g 1 1/16 oz-30g 1 1/8 oz-32g 1 1/4 oz- 35g 1 3/8 oz-38g 1 9/16 oz-42g 1 3/4 oz-50g 2 oz- 56g 2 1/4 oz-63g If you wish to shoot above this please contact Royal Ordanace for further details

Floating Chamber
3/4 oz- 21g 7/8 oz- 24g I would put 7/8 oz as 25 grams. (28.35 x 0.875 = 24.8) 7/8 oz (25)g = 382.8 grains 24 gm = 370.37 grains FC
Windknot
I agree, but most 24g cartridges are listed as 7/8 oz, which is a lot easier to say than 27/32nds of an ounce. Which is what 24g is. Just like a .38 Special bullet isn't .38" in diameter. Don't you just love gunspeak?

As the gauge gets smaller and the shot column gets longer, (taller), these 'small' amounts matter. Pressure! Example: I have the 20 gauge loading tables for a leading manufacturer here in front of me: Extract: 20 gauge 21 gram - 3/4 oz 20 gauge 24 gram 20 gauge 25 gram - 7/8 oz
