CaptC
16 bore by Whitehouse & Son of Oakham and Melton Mowbray (as per the rib) 28” sleeved barrels (the joints are impossible to see) Reblacked barrels and top lever. The bottom plate and trigger guard retain their original blacking. 21/2” chambers proofed for 1oz loads. No idea of the chokes sorry! Left barrel is quite tight, right barrel probably cylinder? The highly figured walnut stock is 14.25” which includes an ebonite but plate. The Webley action is typical of the pre war Birmingham guns and therefore very reliable. Unused silver oval. Checkering is clean and very crisp. Pins/screws are not mutilated. Top lever spring very strong. Tight action that snaps shut correctly Selling for a friend as my SGC is “in the post”. £400 ono - postage via RFD a pleasure Edited July 6, 2023 by CaptC
