Hi All. This is my first post on the forum and it has come out of desperation to have a question answered!!

I recently purchased a shotgun from a friend for curiosity value more than anything and trying to find out about it has become a bit of an obsession.

It is an Investarm (yes, I know!!) over and under 20bore above a .410 combination. Double trigger non-ejector with front trigger lower barrel (.410) and rear trigger 20 bore. I have never seen this combination (plenty of .410 / .22 combos) and have no idea why you would want it!!! I have had a number of opinions (the .410 is a rebored .303.........) Has anyone ever heard of this combination/ have any idea why you would want it!!

As mentioned I am becomming a bit obsessed trying to find out about it.

PLEASE HELP!

Cheers All and good shooting

my understanding is they were very popular years back, having a high calibre rifle atop a shot gun gave you the best of both worlds, id like to hear more , do you have some pics you can put up on the site?? , as said its more than likely a bored out 30cal for continued legal use.
