Hello, 

For sale is this Stevens Model 58 Bolt Action 12 Bore

It's been altered to be Section 2 compliant and I have the certificate as proof

Please see the photos for the condition, the bore is clean with no pitting

Excuse my ignorance, but does this mean the magazine does not work? (single shot),or that it has been welded in place so not removable?

Yeah, the magazine is fixed in place and you load from the top

Sorry I just realised what you were asking and you got me thinking. It looks to be fixed and actually hold 3 cartridges (2 in the mag).

You can tell I've not used it. I recently acquired it due to a bereavement and have been tasked with the sale.

with a fixed magazine you have to put one in the chamber first then two in the magazine pushing down the one's in the magazine while pushing the bolt forward its easier to use as a two shot plus make sure the magazine has no sharp edges or you get cut been there and done it
