Low or high I struggle, in my case struggle more with low, I just can't get warm. I now have thick fleece top and bottom sheets under a quilt for indoor at night. The Nurse just changed my insulin because of this and untill I level out I'm not going out much as the new stuff just ain't suiting. Currently using electric handwarmers, compression gloves and extra thick socks indoors. Not looking forward to tomorrow's 100 bird clays if I have to queue. No way could I sit in a hide. Pushkin
Mable, that's not so good. I seem to be okay when my sugars are in my target range. Too low and I get the jitters until I take on food/sugar (very low amount 1/2 spoon in a very large mug of tea). Too high and I'm like you but cheat a bit at bedtimes by using an electric blancket, my wife recently changed my duvet back to the winter rating as the spring one doesn't do it for me. Hopefully the new insulin will even out for you and that will help things. I currently use Humalog during the day as required to keep me right and I take a shot of Abasagler slow acting insulin at bed time. whilst the latter is good, if I misjudge the amount I end up with the sweats and jitters during the night. Hope yu get things balanced soon. Pushkin
