CumbrianWildfowler
Struggling with speed. Anything from 500 fps to 1200 fps, despite very accurate consistent loading. It seems much easier to make consistent loads with Lilgun in 20 bore.
Smudger687
I would guess it's struggling to build enough pressure to burn consistently. Do you get much unburnt powder left in the barrel/action? If so the usual options would be to use a faster powder, increase the payload, or add [more] buffer. If you're using any compressible fillers like felt or cork you can swap them out for ordinary fibres which are harder. Likewise if you're using the carts through a gas auto the bleed-off is going to reduce pressures and slow the burn down - probably not by much but it's going to contribute to some extent. CumbrianWildfowler
Thanks for he tips. There's a fair bit of advice in the vaults on here to suggest trying Titewad powder. Better for the lower end of the speed scale to what Im using now?
Andy H
Vectan BA10 seem's to be good for subsonic's as per cookoff.
