sharp_shooter
My dad has a webley omega which he bought second hand a good 11 years ago. It has never had a spring replaced since he bought it. When i was lining it up a few days ago i was getting 5 inch groups. The pellets used are eley wasps 5.6mm and they fit nicely. Are there any other pellets of the same size to try before we spend the money on a new spring? Is it worth buying a new spring for it? fishandshoot
Get it serviced at a gunsmith, he will tune it and if that meens a new spring he will fit one.
neil
The omega was top of the webley range when it was made and are good guns, it could be any one of a load of things at fault. What sort of groups did you used to get with it? is it the gun or are you out of practice? ;-) It is definatly worth sorting out if it is a problem with the gun though, how about taking it to your local gunsmith for a service, after 11 yrs it could probably do with one.
