Clive53
Okay, I don’t want to put a damper on Thermtec BUT… start of last year I bought a Thermtec Aries 660 LF which was over £4K and thought it would last me for a few years, last year I noticed the back drop was getting really foggy which wasn’t there when I bought it so I read the manual end to end, adjusted settings trying to get the background visible again and got nowhere, left it for a bit and re set re boot it and eventually took it back to the shop! They bought it through the uk supplier for Thermtec who apparently don’t deal with Thermtec anymore (first alarm bell) they then tried to get hold of the new supplier, no answer (alarm bell 2) the shop contacted me to say they were stumped. So I eventually found an email address for customer services Thermtec (in China) I explained the situation and their very blunt and simple response reads Hi Clive Hall, I believe with proper adjustment you still can realize a clear view focused on the background, if you focused on the main target, the background will be foggy if it's far away from the main target. Best regards. Technical Support Team | Overseas Sales Department ThermTec Technology Co., Ltd. Email:support@thermeyetec.com https://www.thermeyetec.com No. 181 Wuchang Avenue, Hangzhou, China, 311122 So… I have tried another email but I don’t hold much hope, my advice is be conscious there is no UK support and China is washing their hands of any responsibility, has anybody got any advice apart from the bin? oldypigeonpopper
Hello, I thought Thermtec had a UK importer ?? If it is still under warranty through this Company i would ask for a refund if you purchased from them direct or the RFD if that was the supplier, Thermtec UK still have a web site selling Thermtec Products Edited January 15 by oldypigeonpopper
