Evil Elvis
I have just got my fac, On the back it says that i canonly have one .22 rimmy. However, i have seen many people with more that one .22 on their signature, and indeed there is a guy on bbs that has 3. i would like to put a day scope on one and a night scope on another so I dont have to mess around swapping scopes. i have the same set up with my airguns and it works great, one for day one for night. Do I have to ask for 2 and is there a justification i need to have?

Pagey
If you only have permission to aquire one .22, you can only have one, if you have "good reason" to have two, and the FLO agree's with it then you can apply for a variation and have permission to have a second added. I don't know whether scope swapping is sufficient "good reason", you'll have to ring your FLO.
tulkyuk
Your good reason would be as you stated - 1 for daywork with a scope and the other for use with the NV You can also ask for a second rimfire if you want One in bolt action and the other is semi-auto - You will need to get a variation for a second rifle though, but as others say its all down to how your FAO views it. Evil Elvis
THANKS GUYS, ITS JUST THAT THE NIGHT VISION TAKES A LOT OF TWEAKING, THEN TO HAVE TO TAKE IT OFF AGAIN!!! CAN BE A PAIN!!!! Ill get to grips with my new one and once Im happy with that and put a few through it, Ill think about getting a variation and the bolt action idea is spot on.!!!
