Guest The Outlaw
I have been given an old SBS with Damascus barrels by someone I did a barn conversion for, In fact I found it and they never new it existed. As they dont hold a SGC they handed it over to me and it is now on my SGC. The only marks on it are on both sides of the action and from what I can see it is J Farmer. All else I can tell you is that it is a 12 bore hammer action. Any one out there guess at its age or even know about this make of gun. It also has paper thin barrels so it isnt a good idea to shoot it. Tony

malkiserow
Worth getting a gunsmith to check it out and see if if is safe and in proof.
Guest The Outlaw
I put a silly suggestion on here and asked for it to be removed, so back to the question. The gun is not in proof as the Barrels are very very thin. And on close inspection there are a few dents in it causing restrictions internally. The rest of the Gun is fine and the barrels are tidy on the outside. I have thought about getting it de-activated but that would cost more than if it were destroyed. So for now I will check it out some more, and then decide later what to do with it. Thanks for your suggestions Tony
loopy bunny blaster
if the action is sound consider having it rebarreled or re sleeved because then you'd have a cracking piece of kit
