I'm wanting to buy an FAC air rifle and my local gunsmith recommends the BSA SuperTen. Brand new and converted he said £590. Is this reasonable and are they any good as FAC converted rifles. I only want about 28 ftlbs to keep it accurate. Any help appreciated.

i have a 12ft lbs superten and its a fantastic gun,i would not sell it id rather buy a second gun than get rid of the superten.the price you have been quote is a good price.and as with the rapid guns the 400cc bottle is better than a 500cc bottle, regards and best of luck lone wolf

do they come with the 400cc bottle as standard then or the 500c. if the 500cc is an upgrade why would anyone bother upgrading? How many shots per fill with a 400c bottle @ 28ftlb? By the way i think the Theoben is a little out of my price range. :xmas:

my 12ft lbs bsa came with a 200cc bottle as standard i think you have the choice on the other bottles when you go to fac but the 500cc bottle seems to upset the balance.i beleive you get 45-60shots from a 400cc bottle on 28ft lbs.but im not sure.if you go to the bsa web site all the info is there.

I hunt with a super 10 fac running at 30ft pounds using bisley magnums and ive fired alot of different rifles including air rangers, rapids, air arms s410's and i still think its the best, tho these are all top rifles. All these group really really well. All can put pellet on pellet at 50yards no problem. What stands out the best is the super10, the reason why is the reg and that brillaint trigger. Only down side is that it doesnt have a quick fill.
