sharp_shooter
Just walked up to my bedroom and looked outside and feeding just on the lawn were to carrion crows. They are often there but always outsmart me. As I went for my gun the flew off but a magpie landed in a pear tree. Opened the window and just as i was about to fire the wind blew a strong gust and knocked the magpie out of the tree. It flew down into a small woods we own so i went out to try and shoot it. I slowly walked down my garden using any cover and spotted it in a large pine tree about 20 feet up. Is stalked to a tree 7 yards from the base of the tree. I place between the 1st and 2nd dot of my reticule on it head and squeezed off the trigger. Down came the magpie. As i was burrying the magpie one of the carrions returned and landed in a different pine tree. This time aiming at the base of its head, i fired to bring down the carrion. Not bad for a ten minute effort :look:
