I applied for my ticket (new grant) back in early October, FEO came out early December, said no worries, will be with you before Christmas and I still haven't heard anything!

West Mercia Police, and one license holder and gun already in the household.

so how long before your cert runs out are you supposed to apply for a new cert

Well the FEO told me that he'd been out to see a farmer the day he came to mine and that he'd been waiting 12 months for a renewal to the day of the visit!

i would be panicing that my licence is gunna run out and i would then be holding guns without a licence,,,,,,,,,,, no one close to look after them for me....

Wow I think thier new computerised system has packed up, it is approx 50% longer to process now, renewals are the same, mine runs out in 2 days so Browning boy will be baby sitting 9 shotties for me and Calam soon.

Thanks James you are a star  We can put the safes in FiFi's room if you like

Tony

When mine came round he was very quick and efficient.

Start to finish 4 1/2 weeks.

I mentioned that there had been talk of the centralised computer

slowing the process down, He did not seem too happy at that and

informed me that the central computer was working fine and the

only hold ups were the admin staff on holidays and stuff.

I can vouch for their efficiency.
