Shotgun Mike
Has anyone shot over it? (mainly the chickweed)
The Sniper
Shotgun Mike, No, I have never shot over it, but I saw a gent once taking samples from a field of borridge. He was dressed in a full bee keepers outfit, as he explained bees love the stuff. Now if you can get away from the borridge and onto the chickweed, pigeons love the stuff. Let us know how you go on, please.
Fisherman Mike
Mike... Sniper is right bees do love Borage.... I have only ever seen one crop of Borage I understand it is grown for its oil which has health useages I shot a stubble field two fields away from a small field of Borage and there was a flightline alright but of Honey bees not pigeons... I cannot remember seeing many pigeons attracted to it though. Have I got the right stuff? little blue flowers. FM
Shotgun Mike
Yep thats the stuff. When i shot over it i had 46 pigeons and 1 jackdaw. The flightline was fairly constant, coming from a wood about 2 miles away. The corvids don't seem to like it.
