shootingmike
I'm going to be after a new jacket for next season and cost is a big factor. I currently have a Deerhunter wolf in MAX 4 which was 74 quid and I love it, but it's starting to get ripped and they don't seem to sell them anymore. I have been looking at Deben's site and they now do this: http://www.deben.com/camouflage_clothing/j...rain_jacket.php and the new AP and APG patterns look OK I suppose. They also do this: http://www.deben.com/camouflage_clothing/j...cane_jacket.php which is ideal as it comes in MAX 4 but no hood? Instead, I'm thinking about one of these as they look thick, are MAX 4, and come with a seperate fleece. http://www.edirectory.co.uk/pf/880/mia/d/p...e+l/pid/5334675 Anyone had either and can comment or make other recomendations? I know how good deerhunterstuff is but want to spend as little as possible. And before anyone says it, I don't want a full JahtiJakt set with theraml undercrackers!!!! ShaggyRS6
I have Deer Hunter Montana in Camo and in Green, both very good. I have Deer Hunter Europe in Camo, Excellent - See Review Below I have JahtiJackt Camo suit etc also. Very Good stuff. Qaulity wise the Deer Hunter has it over the JahtiJact, but for the price you cant beat Jahti http://www.arcticoutdoor.com/ Edited February 5, 2008 by ShaggyRS6
shootingmike
Thought I'd report back..... Bought a pro logic thermo armour max 4 today - very happy with it. One serious heavy and thick bit of kit for 90 quid. The removable quilt lined fleece is lovely, and the jacket as a whole is great. I look forward to many cold mornings on the foreshore with it, tucked up warm three hours before first light!
wildfowler-2007
you will not go wrong with the pro logic best wildfowling jacket out at the moment and a snip for under £
