Percussion revolvers?

Anyone on the list shoot BP revolvers? I'm considering an eventual acquisition of one. Was wondering whether most mates who shoot them prefer a .36, or a .44, and why? And what models and manufacturers, and why.

Apparently Ruger has discontinued their Old Army, more's the pity. :)

I dont own a bp revolver but have shot my mates Rodgers and Spencer in .44. My friend really rates the Rodgers as being very durable and easy to use. The grips are also a bit bigger than on the ruger revolvers handy if your 'paws' are pretty big!

Just make sure that you get a stainless one, preferably a Ruger if you can find one. last forever, easy to clean. Great fun to shoot, OK, so you spend more time loading than shooting, give it a go! I would go for a 44 or 45, if only to make more smoke!
