pin Posted March 1, 2008 Report Share Posted March 1, 2008 (edited) Blu-ray is High Definition DVD - it won the war with the other format (HDDVD) [ think VHS / Betamax ]. If you buy something to do the VHS -> DVD job you won't be getting something with Blu-Ray playing capability. You can do the job on your PC for about £35 have a look at these Spend a bit of time transferring everything and you won't need the combo thing at all, save a fortune and buy a blu-ray player (best buy out there at the moment also comes with a free Playstation 3 built in Edited March 1, 2008 by pin Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Pinkfooty Posted March 2, 2008 Report Share Posted March 2, 2008 You can feed the video into your PC by using an inexpensive device such as the Dazzle Digital Video Creator. Then simply compile and burn your DVDs using standard DVD burn software (such as you almost certainly got bundled with your PC).
