nhamm2
I may be wrong, but there doesn't seem to be many other members from my neck of the woods? Does anyone know of a Pigeon Club in the area? Thanks in advance.
DramaQueen
I may be wrong, but there doesn't seem to be many other members from my neck of the woods? Does anyone know of a Pigeon Club in the area? Thanks in advance. There are a few up that way. Pirate runs a clay ground in Drayton Parslow, there is another straw bail shoot in Akeley and there is another nice little ground in Castlethorpe, details of which you can get from R&K Stockcraft in Stoney Stratford. These are clay grounds, but you might be able to meet up with some pigeon shooters. You have pm for a usful number to ring for the area know it all. Cranfield
CJ, I think nhamm2 could be talking about real pigeon shooting clubs, perhaps he would be kind enough to clarify.
nhamm2
Sorry, guess I should have made that clearer! I did mean real pigeon, although always useful to know where to practise! I only live a mile or so from Castlethorpe so will definitely drop in there. Applied for my licence around six weeks ago, so hopeful that it won't be too long before I can get some 'real' practise in. Have dropped into R&K Stockcraft a few times and found them very friendly and helpful (incidentally, the same applies to Donaldsons in Fenny Stratford). Thanks all for your feedback, great forum. DramaQueen
The same advise goes for real pigeon shooting, this chap who's number I have sent you, runs a few shoots and has access to syndicate details with spaces. Sarah
