2-dead-in-the-air
We used to freeze up all our wood pigeons then had them collected about every 2 months ( wiltshire ) is this service still available ? This was about 8/10 years ago when the numbers were good around here.
cloudwalker
I've seen ads in the Shooting Times asking for Pigeons. They must collect. I don't know what they pay or what the minimum number is though. I have a Game dealer nearby so I take them there- 20p for fresh 10p for frozen.
M ROBSON
Our game dealer comes and collects from us twice a week, I believe they only deal with shooters that have the correct chiller facilities and the meat hygene certificates that most dealers are now asking for, but this gets us a higher price per bird. We shoot Woodies for 10 weeks in the spring and 10 weeks in the summer, 6 days a week. Mark.
