Chard
I used to have an old spec de-activated K98 and when I wanted to sell it, I advertised it on the forum here : http://www.wwiireenacting.co.uk/ It's a WW2 Re-enacting site Some real fanatics on there. One guy (can't remember his name) asked me about the year of this K98 and I had to tell him I hadn't got a clue. He then proceeded to give me an amazing online lesson on how to date K98 Mausers - absolutely amazing knowledge. Perhaps if you join their forum and ask the question, he'll resurface again He certainly knew his Mausers Edited March 11, 2008 by Chard
