Weasil
Hi, I have a brand new Anschutz 1712 heavy barrel 22 rifle (bolt action). Unfortunately the empty shells bounce off the scope back into the breach and jam. Has anyone else had this problem? Any thoughts? russ91
dose it bounce off the mounts or the scope
Weasil
I think it ejects up and forward on to the mount then up on to the scope then back down, sometimes out the left hand side of the rifle, sometimes back into the breach. russ91
it sounds like its clipping the bottom of the mount you may have to modify the scope mounts
Weasil
The front mount is 1.5cm forward of the breach. It can not hit the bottom of the mount. It seems to eject up too much and not out to the right enough.
jcbruno
yes i have had that problem with my 1416, even with out a scope and using iron sites, i just pull back on the bolt a little harder and often that ejects with a little more force
Weasil
Thanks for that. I have now sent it back to the distributors. Hopefully they will sort it otherwise I will revert to my CZ.
