BigGun1 Posted March 16, 2008 Report Share Posted March 16, 2008 (edited) Hi! Purchased a SMK XS36-2 .22 underlever air rifle as a bit of a project, just to see how well you could make one shoot. Any how, did the usual sand, then polish the piston etc, then replace the seals and re-assemble with a new spring (titan xs) then removed one and a quarter coils from the spring and fitted nylon top hat washers to the spring. It now chronos at 11.2ftb as a 10 shot average with H+N's. The wood work is as new. No scope fitted, just as it came. Got about as far as I can with it, not even tried it on the range but hey...time for a new project so £60 plus postage at cost. Paypal no problem just so long as you are old enough to own it!
