funky
hi if you go to an army surplus store you can but a ghillie suit base mesh and then add your camo to it by cutting strips of material and Hessian sacking anything that will conceal your outline, remember it needs to reflect the foliage of where you shoot. problem is if it rains on you it gets heavy and obviously wet you can buy water proof ones but you will have to part with £100.00 plus best of luck sundance
triscrx
What I have done recently is bought a mesh oversuit the same as this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ENDSOON#GALLERY Then attach offcuts of burlap / Hessian sack http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/COMMANDO-SNIPER-GHIL...1742.m153.l1262 And cover the entire vest so your outline is hidden. Here is a pic of mine but when she was in the early stages: Im going to be making the trousers soon, But the jacket is ideal as it hides your outline which is what gives you away. You can also get a CD on E-bay which tells you a good way of making them although I havent seen it so I cant tell you if its any good: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...s=its%3DS%252BI Hope this helps buddy. It takes a few hours to make a decent ghillie suit but very worthwhile. I have spent around 3 hours perfecting mine but I bet you wouldnt see me stood 10 metres away now. stealth

Melonfish
i'll give you one bit of advice if your making a ghillie from a mesh base. once you've added your hessian outer etc. get it fireproofed! in dry conditions it only takes one fag end to make you into the wicker man! if you've got the money however try taking a look at russian surplus stuff, the sniper suits are particularly good especially the "leshy" suit. waterproof and perfect for laying up in the leafyness i know i'm a noob but i play alot of airsoft and not being seen is something me and the guys go in for, i've also seen someone set fire to their ghillie and i wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. pete
