tiercel
Yes tiercel and it only took 2 years, 11 months and 5 days , Soon I will be able to start the water work Who's at fault there you or the dog? Just keep going, when they do click what it is you want, boy they just take over the training. My dogs mother was 3 before she rose her first rabbit, but after that there was no stopping her. Mine was younger starting to work, but once he stared he just took to every stage in a matter of days. From retrieving to working with the hawk. You will get there soon and when you do, you will know what it feels like. TC
Sundowner
Tiercel, tell me about it, can't stop him with the rabbits !!! He flushes anything and everything ! He is now also fairly steady on retrieving pigeons. After collecting the just shot birds, I make him find the cold deeks and retrieve them. Of course he "throws" his weight about once in a while, but that is to be expected, right ? I wish I could talk more with GWP owners or even meet up ?
