Williebo
Hi I wondered if one of you knowledgeable chaps could help me. I am looking to replace the trigger blade on my Browning 525 but cannot see exactly how its done, it will not slide off because the trigger guard stops it, logical for safety reasons. The Browning manual, in many languages, only shows a basic diagram where the safety is pulled down to pressumably release the trigger but this does not seem to work although I do not want to force it down. I assume it is meant to be a fairly simple process or they wouldn't give you spare blades but if anyone knows how to do this I would be most grateful. Birdboy
I changed my trigger on my 525 a few years ago and used an allan key, and if i remember, it was on a slide plate. Cant say i remember it being hard to slide off. Cheers Gaz

the last engineer
this may help. picture 1 when you undo the 2mm screw slide the trigger shoe forward as far as possible. picture 2 see where i am pointing with the pen picture 3 depress the heel of the trigger base with your finger, you can see the extra room you have to move the shoe forward picture 4 you can now slide out the trigger shoe easily try that whilst taking pictures and sneezing , not bad though Martin
