Birdboy
Great idea thanks. Im going to get some cards printed up, but what do you think would be appropriate wording ? I would plan to put it up at Mole Valley Farmers Shop nearby and I would be keen to use the words free vermin control by experienced and insured shooter = would this sound right ? What have you guys put on a calling card ? Cheers Gaz
Cranfield
"Vermin control" will mean rats and mice to a lot of people and if you don't want to include them, then be more specific. Perhaps something like; "Pigeon and Corvid control carried out by fully insured and experienced shooter". You can also add rabbits and foxes in the text if you want to. To ensure you have the right Insurance cover membership of BASC, CA, NGO etc., would be almost essential. When you have membership, state " ABCD membership No 1234567" on the card. Top tip; get the cards laminated, that way Farmers treat them with more respect and they don't fall apart when damp.
Birdboy
Thanks Cranfield, much appreciated. On Vista site now sorting out a draft copy ! I see what you mean re Vermin wording, as i dont want to be smoking out rats if i can be in the field on rabbits/foxes ! Really appreciated, Cheers Gaz
