fillythebish
I have a box of Crosman Accupel .22 pellets at 14.3 grains and a box of (grossly over priced) Crosman Premier .22 at 14.3 grains also, and the Premiers hit about an inch higher than the Accupels at 30 yards. Anyone why this would happen when the pellets appear to be identical. The only difference I can see is the finish, the Accupels appear shinier and seem to be more lubed. Also what does it mean? Are the Premiers going at a higher velocity?
henry d
Are both identical in thickness/cross section/diameter/height ?? If not thats your answer
fillythebish
I havent got any with me at the moment, but I think the Premier might be slightly smaller in length, but theres not much in it I dont think. Also the weight is exactly the same. But what does it mean if the Premiers hit higher than the Accupels? Are the Premiers going faster so they drop less? And if thats the case and the weight is the same as the Accupel then that means the ft/lb is also higher?
