Very nice m8, you got any pictures?

I have the Escort Luxano http://www.hatsan.com.tr/new_escort_luxano.asp

Absolutely bloody brilliant gun I think it is the best gun I have ever purchased.

I take it clay shooting, I often go with my farther and we both use the same gun, so we can get threw 200+ carts in one session a few times a week, in all of the time we have used it not once have I ever had a jam or misfire, and it’s so easy to take apart once you get used to it.

I paid £375 for mine, brand new with the twin barrels, 28†and 26†very understated gun. Great buy!

Cheers Spud . I partly went for the cammo because it would hopefully not look so grubby after being hauled through bushes etc. Think I got it for £40 or so below retail. Very encouraging to hear good stuff about the reliability too. :yp:

Good choice!

I have the Escort Double Magnum in black (3.5" chamber, otherwise very similar to yours but less fancy looking!)

As you said; they are a great knock about gun. I love the parkerized finish. Don't have to worry nearly so much as you do with bluing! Also a very cheap way to get an extra shot in which can make all the difference between a kill and not or even more importantly a swift kill and having to watch an animal suffer whilst you reload.

Also: if you ever want to upgrade to FAC 4+1 then you can do so at no extra cost! The gun is actually already a 4+1 with a restricter fitted to bring it down to 2+1. Obviously doing so without an FAC would land you in prison for a long time but I thought I'd tell you as it is actually mentioned in the manual! You can also buy an extension tube which takes the capacity up to a 7+1 or something silly.

The only problem I've ever had with mine is that it has split a live cartridge out of the gate when cycling a couple of times. It's a great gun 99% of the time though! Let us know what you think when you've broken her in!

For £310 I am delighted.Seems well made and so far am pleased. Been getting among the crows and by adding the shims the fit seems to suit really well.Seems a great knock about gun and think I got a good deal.

You did mate, nice gun all the best with it, I know a few blokes who use them for wildfowling and haven't had any problems so far :yp:

I dont see any Hatsan on sale for pocket money prices. They seem to be mostly £200 plus even for the base models which seems on par with most other mass produced guns ie 30 ish pc depreciation.I am really pleased to have a new gun that suits my needs.
