Ok, So I set off at 8PM and walked to a farm of which I had permission for. It's roughly a few hundred acres, including another separate farm about 3 miles away. I sat on a mound in the field for about 45mins and noticed two rabbits around 70 yards away. I slowly made my way towards them and got to arround 20 yards. The rabbits just sat there, puzzled and as I pull the trigger, MISS. Not sure quite how but my hands were kinda' shaking and very very cold.

...Around 2 minutes later guess what, I turn around and see a charging hare running towards me. It stops at around 30 yards away and just stared, although too far away still for me to have shot and killed it cleanly.

Also saw a fox cub bout 10 metres away.

Anyone got anytips on dusk shooting for Rabbits etc? I wear full realtreeâ„¢ cammo etc.

Cammo is not as important as keeping still, rabbits respond to movement, also when you shoot one leave it where it is, pick them up when you have finished. I sit in my motor (blue and silver metallic) and shoot out of the window, rabbits will take little notice of anything that is stationary, I shot 11 in an hour and a half in this manner last Thursday in one spot.
