tulkyuk
Even if you get permission, you need to make sure the land has been cleared by the FAO for use with a rifle - thats whats the "or on land deemed suitable by the chief officer of police for the area where the land is situated and over which the holder has lawfull athourity to shoot." means!!! Macperc
ie you have a "closed" certificate and each new piece of lands need to be approved. If you had an "open" certificate you could make the judgement yourself.
casts_by_fly
ie you have a "closed" certificate and each new piece of lands need to be approved. If you had an "open" certificate you could make the judgement yourself. just remember that new to you doesn't mean new to shooting. Up this way most of the farms have been passed at one point or another. Ask the farmer first if anyone has shot there in the past. Then call up the police force and ask if the farm is on their books. Having the farm name helps as that is what most know it by. Thanks, Rick
