vole
As a relative newcomer to having my SG cert I do my best to be safe and responsible.I read around the subjects and learn plenty off this forum. In reality I probably could find a 12ft lb+ air rifle useful for out of range stuff and for reducing meat damage to bunnies but could not be bothered with the whole application proceedure for an fac air gun.I might see how I get by with a legal limit one though. I have wondered however that my sgc permits me to use a gun that will send alot of projectiles, small or large at up to 1450 fps to a fair old distance. FAC air rifles seem to have roughly 2/3 that velocity and involve a single projectile.I fully understand the need to keep the more potent airguns out of the hands of the irresponsible types but am not sure why a sgc holder could not be trusted with one considering how they compare to your typical 12g. Just a thought. Edited May 27, 2008 by vole21
tweedledee
i would say the fac air has a bigger fall out range when shooting at trees.fac air is a great companion.i would never be without it.12 ft lbs is nothing compared to it.
