if in gasping you mean panting this is normal, exercise brings it on

and heat, dogs do it to cool down, if you mean snorting loudly through

its nose it could have something trapped in it, vets, if you mean really

struggling to breath and in distress you need a vet straight away,

there could be something lodged in its nose or throat that shifts to cause

this, my dog swallowed a golf ball and when he laid down the ball

moved to block his airways it took two days to find it at the vets,

and we were close to losing him, didnt even know he picked a ball up

as he never goes out without me,and I dont have them at home.

I would certainly be seeing a vet and not leaving it :good:

yeah shes snorting loudly through her nose.she doesnt look like she's distressed or in pain and when she stops she just carries on as normal

shes got something stuck in her nostrils a piece of bone or grass seeds,

off to the vet Im afraid as it can get infected if not sorted out, snorting

like this can also be the start of infections, which my sister found out

with her bull mastiff he had kennel cough, nasty, better to be safe mate. :good:
