Maiden22
Might loosen up a bit once it's been fired a few times. Robert
berettaman
I agree with Robert but also it wouldnt hurt to sit in your living room and work the action open and close for a good while this will also ease the problem its exactly what happend with a new gun i had once also instead of grease try a bit wd40 on the hinge pins to make sure they arnt nipping the bolt Edited June 2, 2008 by berettaman
2shots
You can use 1200 wet and dry on the hinge pins to loosen it quicker. I was told this when my wife was struggling to open a new miroku but dont overdo it,if theres rust present clean that off if not it could just be lack of use and will slacken anyway, careful with the wet@dry. chris921
hi the gun isnt new tho but has been sitting for about a year
2shots
If its an ejector the pins that reset them and the hammers could be siezed as well so plenty of wd into the action, I would remove the stock and give everything a good dowsing with wd40 or similar, make sure you dry it off before replacing the stock. chris921
oiled it but its still stiff see how it is after a few rounds through it not been used for a good year so it needs a good shooting
chris921
also its fine when the barrel on the stock on its own but when i put the bottom back on it goes stiff ??
berettaman
If it goes stiffer when the fore end is on it could be siezed cocking rods, plenty of wd40 on them then try tommorow after a good soak, but dont forget to dry off afterwards or you will be encourageing double discharging (both barrels at once and it hurts ask my mate)
