badger007
go around the farms/small holdings in your area, & simply ask.. better still get some cards printed, train stations/bus stations have a simple card making factilities (£3 for 50) offer your shooting skills, for pest, crow/maggy/pigeon/etc & drop a hint of a helping hand when they need it.. most dairy/pig farms will seem suspicious, 'free labour' but its down to your approach..good luck, & remember don't ask too many, you may not have THAT much time !! its that time of year, silage etc..... get in there! Baldrick
Andy, you won't have to wait long if you can offer a farmer help with fencing and building work. The problem will be convincing farmers (a pretty conservative bunch) that yours is a no-strings-attached offer. Farmers also talk, and if you are seen to e a real asset to one farmer, you may get recommended to others.
