Watership Down

Recommended Posts

I was quite busy the other morning jobs to do you know how it is no rest for the wicked anyhow got finished by 1.30pm...

Sun was shining so gave Scaffy a ring to see what he was up to I'm up the college having a wander round says Scaffy well I'm sorted out now and i am going to watership down are you coming " right I'm on the way back to the motor be there in 30 minutes "

So i got home got the guns out and got changed ready to go i was taking the HMR and 223 as Scaffy had his .22 and 223 so if we needed to be quiet he could use the .22 and i had the HMR for the long shots.

Took a short video clip of the first field...

Right how many did you count that time there must have been hundreds out, well maybe not quite that many but quite a few.........

We decided to make a start after watching them for a while we got tooled up and started it was pure pest control the farmer just wanted them dead no matter what size they were..

We started shooting about 3.30pm and packed in at 7pm we ended up with.........

1 SQUIRREL

that was daft enough to walk across the road and stop so i let him have it with the HMR....

Nearly forgot to add and 106 rabbits

Forgot to add i have been using the HMR so much lately i ended the day with one mag (4) bullets left.

Can see a trip to the gun shop to restock tomorrow.......:hmm::angry::lol:  :yp:
