Being a CLA member , i must point out to fellow pw members that the CLA magazine has stated that pigeons may become a game bird . The reasons for this are (Of which i can remember):- i) The wood pigeon is one of the best sporting birds in the country ii) The number of pigeon guides are making so much money the goverment feels it needs to claw back some of this revenue in the form of the game licence . I'm sorry i can't remember any more details of this article .
