neil
Who uses what scopes?ie magnification make etc.I'm not talking 2ft long field target telescopes, just for normal hunting etc,I use a Nikko stirling 3-9x40 on my eclipse and to be honest with an air rifle i never seem to wind the magnification up much past 4x,whats the ideal air rifle optic in your opinion? rabbitstopper
I used a Nikko Diamon 30mm 3-12x52, with Jap lenses. That was really crystal clear and soo bright and easily matched up to optics to 350 quid, and was a bargin at 200 quid. I found this the perfect magnification range and the 30mm tube made it nice and bright. Just before i sold it, it was even on Sako .223 and was just at home shooting out to 350yards+. NeVeTaS
Ive tried lots, the Nikko stuff is excellant, then step up to Leupold which is ******* excellant, then you move onto the German Stuff, Benders and such which are the mutts nutts
rabbitstopper
Only problem with bender and leupolds they are over priced, but best if you buy second hand for them. Though bother very nice scopes. You only get to the pure brillient scope and really notice the difference with a 1000grand Ziess and Bender scopes :( James
markadams
I use an edgar brother 3-9x50 excellent for low light shooting and lamping. I also have a simmons pro-air 6-12x40 I much prefer the edgar brother scope and the bigger lense make a huge difference. Mark.
