sjk88
I was flicking through the Shooting Times in WHSmith today and saw an article on clay shooting being made a module for PE GCSE, which will be made available to some schools. It will include safe handling of guns, rules and regulations etc Is this finally good news for shooting and encouraging youngsters to join?? Or how long will it be before the Government clamp down on it?? sjk Edited June 18, 2008 by sjk88

bazguevara
When I did my PE GCSE I wanted to do pistol shooting as a module, even though it was an olympic sport they refused.
Maiden22
Am I the only one thinking "Why on earth is there a PE GCSE?" Robert
bazguevara
I have to say it was utterly pointless. It can be good for those hoping to go on to sports science etc. As I remember there was a fair bit of bioligy and first aid in the course, probably the only stuff of any use to me!
