Windknot
My latest aquisition is a bit short in the stock for me (my nose and right thumb were VERY good buddies after 50 shots!), but at least it gives me an excuse to replace the hard butt pad with a proper recoil pad. I need to add about an inch to the stock, which is very convenient, as most recoil pads seem to be an inch thick. So, which one do you recommend? Anyone use the Isis green pad? Limbsaver? Or Decelerator? I have the tools to fit it, so DIY jobbies are the best option for me. The gun is a sporter/ game gun so pre-mounting isn't on the cards. Gordon R
Pachmayr Sporting Clays SC100 Recoil Pad (Medium) - they have a plastic insert at the top, to prevent snagging when mounting. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pachmayr-Sporting-Cl...Q2em118Q2el1247
