peacey
Me and Sando had a bit of a wander out this evening in the rain, aren't we bright? But dedication paid off as you can see. The larger rabbit was on the way back to the truck and spotted it on the fairway. Shot kneeling with sticks at 50 yard. Up to then it was 2 each oh I was using my FAC Super10 Edited June 26, 2008 by peacey
Gonna Shoot a Wabbit
Well Done. I notice you are using an FAC .22 air rifle, I wonder if i could pick your brains. I have never used an FAC air rifle and wonder how the trajectory compares to a rimfire over 50yds. i would be most grateful if you could from personal experience let me know how your rifle performs. What range do you zero at? How much does the flight path of you pellet deviate at 10yds, 20yds, 30yds, 40yds, 50yds. One of my friends is considering an FAC air rifle, but i dont know anyone who owns one who could help or advise!! your help would be much appreciated before he spends a lump of the hard earned. many thanks GSAW
peacey
Have it zeroed at 50 yards, under or over that you just need to know how to use your mildot scope. They take some getting used to. I have a 12ft/lb aas410k, the 30 ft/lb super10 and .22 rimfire. they all have their uses. The only thing you need to consider is do you need the mid range capabilities of an FAC air rifle? I chose mine due to the land I shoot and what the FLO would let me have. Must admit though the rimfire gets used less and less since I got the Super10 Edited June 26, 2008 by peacey
