Tarka
I have just aquired an AA S410,but its the earlier model with no safety catch. Is there any way of converting it and adding a safety catvh to it? Reason being that i have got the later model with the safety catch, but want to let my younger brother use this other one. cheers
BSA Shaun
You can swap the trigger for a later model one which incorporates the safety catch. Take it to your gunshop to get it done
TONYG
will need to change the trigger gaurd aswell,or machine it out,for the safety to work.
Easy Bully
Keep your money amd leave it alone, any safety that requires you to touch the trigger to set it is asking for trouble. EB
peacey
It's easy to use and doesn't cause any problems setting it even though it's mounted on the trigger. Never had any problems with mine, you can flick it across really easily and if there were any concerns over its safety do you honestly think a company like air arms would have made such an item if it was unsafe. Until you've used one you can't really comment on how safe it is

Until you've used one you can't really comment on how safe it is Having owned a number of S4** it would just seem to me that the safety on the more recent ones is a bit of an after thought on what is a fantastic airgun. I am a big fan of sensible and functional safetys, but the s410 one is a dog as it catches on the guard and just begs to be operated one handed....dangerous TBH EB
