Pigeon shooting On Laid Barley

Me and JohnyR set out yesterday for an afternoon's decoying, we were joined by 2 others who were also decoying the same field just in serperate hides. There were two obvious flight lines into the field, with a hide under each and a basic pattern for us, (about 25 decoys and a magnet that ran out of battery!). The other hide had roughly the same but with a magnet and flapper! We started shooting at roughly 2.50 ish, and got of to a good start with 3 shot without even fully set up, john set the standards with a high parting left to right!

The other hide had most of the action, with the magnet pulling in the high birds, but neverless we had some good shooting, in some cases some more challenging birds with the ones bouncing off the other hide flying over us. The other hide packed up 1 hour before us (they counted 108 that they had shot) and kindly lent us there battery, so with only one attraction on the field (our pattern) we had some good shooting to finish the day, John yet again bagged another amazing left to right, and i had a high crosser which i was pleased with! We finished the day with 60!

A very enjoyable day, thanks john for taking me!

Will post a pic as soon as john sends it!
