HEAD OR NOTHING Posted July 21, 2008 Report Share Posted July 21, 2008 Hi everyone , I hunt a lot and one of my favourite quarry is squirrel I eat them and for that you need quite a lot to feed 2/3 men. Walking around on ageneral hunt getting woodies,conies and the occasional squirrel is not porductive enough. (Keep it quiet with non-hunting people though) I shot a load in the back garden as they were causing a real problem with other wildlife and damaging property. I had finished the last one off last year and I haven't seen another since and believe me, I'm good at spotting them. My point is that if you overshoot an area, you might not see any again for years.. Maybe they have a way of telling other squirrels that a particular area is bad news..? Squirrel telegraph.
