beezer
can anyone give me information on an old air arms springer rifle I have on trial. If I like it I may buy . It is a side lever 22 with a barrel weight not threaded for silencer. Tap loader. When did A I stop making side lever guns I'm curious as to the age of this thing. Allso what sort of power can I expect to get if I put it on my fac.

DavidL
Not really worth putting that gun on FAC, they weren't designed for anything above 12ftlbs and shoot much nicer at around 10 - 11ftlbs. They made various models, mostly using the same sidelever action but in different stocks, not Air-Arms best guns and don't compare with the later TX200. I would guess they stopped making the sidelevers in the early nineties.
beezer
The stock is beech and a simmilar shape to pro elite Ithink. What's it worth roughly? It's not in the best nick.
DavidL
Not worth much, especially if a bit rough, hard to put a value on it without seeing it. Are there no letters or numbers stamped on the gun ?
