Auto
Before i bought my .243 i bought/shot a Mannlicher tactical Elite, Great rifle and round. Was shooting alot more Red Deer then though, Couple of days at hinds now and the odd stag. I used 160grn RWS Bullets. Clean as a whistle on Roe. Harnser
In my humble opinion the .308 is the jack of all trades rifle and master of them all ,i have said this before on the forum and will say it again . The .308 is proberbly the most versertile calibre out there for shooting all species of european and north american deer and antelope . Take it from me i have owned them all and over last twenty years have had only had one rifle for deer and thats the wonderful .308 . Harnser .
