X LeErOy X Posted August 30, 2008 Report Share Posted August 30, 2008 I JUST GOT MY SHOTGUN 2 WEEKS AGO BEEN OUT A FEW TIMES COULD NOT HIT ANYTHING JOINED PW TO GET SOME HELP AND TIPS AND MEET NEW PEOPLE. AND PEOPLES TIPS ON HOW TO PUT OUT YOUR DECOYS AND ROTARY AND HOW TO SHOOT PIGEON IN FLIGHT HAS BEEN GREAT. I WENT SHOOTING TODAY ON A NEW FARM WITH A OPEN MIND. I STARTED AT 1.30 UNTIL SIX AND GOT 14 PIGEON AND 4 BULLET PROFF CROWS . I WISH I HAD GOT A SHOTGUN SOONER! Evilv Posted September 1, 2008 Report Share Posted September 1, 2008 When I started out with a shotgun a long time ago, I consistently fired at birds that were far too far off. Forty yards is not very far at all, and in terms of stuff in the sky, it is very close indeed. I spent a lot of money shooting at birds that were way out of range. Try not to do the same.
