George1990 Posted November 10, 2008 Report Share Posted November 10, 2008 I'd imagine 24g would be better, as I've heard a fair bit of shot is lost from the pattern of a 28g and higher, due to the compression on the chamber causing the shot to weld to each other, making a large lump of lead which flies differently to the loose balls.
