  1. Hi all I'm looking for a miroku stock for a 3800 short trigger guard Ideally a sporter stock, let me know what you've got!!! Cheers Mike
  2. I've got a a team of four, possibly two teams. Can't wait :-)
  3. Spoke to browning rep these and steel proof. They have 3" chambers and are 1350 bar pressure. You'd have to send it to teague and have it multi choked. Send him your chosen hp steel cart and when they reproof they can reproof to that cart. So according to browning it would be absolutely fine with the relevant chokes ie no more than 1/2. Hope this helps
  4. lovely looking gun, very nice engraving with a lot of detail for that money.
  5. I have a miroku catalogue somewhere. I can say for a fact it is a grade 3 game engraving. It is quite rare in the uk. I desperately wanted to get my hands on a MK10 which has the grade 5 game engraving. It has two pheasant on one side and two ducks on the other with mountains as the background. They used this engraving on the MK10 grades 1 3 5 this engraving is the grade 3. Hope this helps. Very sadly the MK10 range and also the MK11 are made for Australia and New Zealand only. Browning wouldn't get me one!!! Guessing browning are worried they would sell a bit to well.
  6. Hey Alan, Thanks for the Great day "Didn't expect anything else from one of your shoots". We all enjoyed the day and banter. Looking forward to Friday Alan. Scott, you don't need to be taken under anyone else's wing, you were carefully selected sunshine, and helped create a winning combo "oh to be wanted hey HaHa" I picked my shooting buddies well Well Shot Team 5, Was a good day chaps Thanks.

  8. You can count me and my usual 3 please. Wouldnt miss it, way to much fun
  9. Have to say Alan at fair clays is a cracking place to go for all levels of shooters. Me and a few mates have been to him before, and had a cracking days sporting targets. Very friendly atmosphere, and very helpful too. He runs his shoots really well, no bother with traps etc. As busy as he had been keeping things running smoothly, he still had time to come round and help some of us out, we all managed to hit all the targets with his help. I must confess i enjoyed it that much along with my mates, i asked if he could book a party of us for a days clays for my 40th. We all vary in our levels of shooting, but the targets our always respectable ie you wont leave feeling you embarrassed yourself. Most importantly we always leave having thouroughly enjoyed ourselves. Roll on the big day, we our all chomping at the bit. A very good place to start and learn, just ask if your struggling and he is more than happy to help, Top Bloke :good: And no im not related or anything like that just a very satisfied group of customers.
  10. I will be there Alan, with one team of four but probably two teams of four. Ps cant wait till my big (40th) shoot, the boys are buzzing about it, we cant wait

  13. Never Barks. When He's busy he is quiet lol. Only ever used him for walking up and rough shooting, ie he has only ever known work. I took him pigeon shooting twice, he fidgited about the whole time and started whining to be honest, i never bothered taking him that much as he gets bored, could have kept taking him and cured the problem with water no problem, ie quick squirt out of a bottle. But as i stated he is a hard hunter and always wants to be on the move, typical springer. I didnt want a lab because of where i shoot is all rough, lab would have happily sat in a hide without a peep. Horse's for course's and all that. Very good retriever, super keen and wont come back till he has the bird. Soft!! if he could live in my pocket he would lol. But when shooting nothing and no one else exsist just the job in hand (proper springer lol), bar me and thats only a quick look to see he's in range. All business Breeding he has badgercourt, birchams, redhead riley to name a few i recognise. My apologies he only has 20 ftch in five generations, it my cocker thats has 25 or more. My Dad trained him as i had no real experience, Dad then taught me as he trained him, after 3months at boot camp lol i had a cracking dog. Hope that helps
  14. Thinking it is time to put My spaniel Teague out to stud!!! Lucky Boy. He is 4 1/2 years old, has twenty five or more FTCH in 5 Generations. Comes from very good stock and it shows. He is a stocky spaniel, total powerhouse, Badgercourt style ie very solid, nice large solid black head. Bold as brass and will take on any and i mean any cover, with no messing or cowering away from it. Bit to bold sometimes, his dad does worry about him lol Very Hard hunting busy boy, but as soft natured as they come. Looking for a very similar Bitch in the Norfolk area. Liver and white would be nice. I would be looking for pick of the litter. Thought i would check out if any of you boys might be interested first.
  15. I believe i have just got my pass, i dont mind making a fool of myself dont usually find it hard to do:lol: 29th at 10 am is that right?
  16. If you pump a good bit of pressure in the tank when you turn the handle she should hiss like hell, thats the paraffin being pressured through. General way i do mine, pump up to build pressure till the pump handle is harder to push in. Obviously the fuel is turned off to allow this. Light meths torch, let it burn till its nearly extinguished, make sure its right up close to the mantle without touching it. just before it burns out introduce a little paraffin, ie turn on the fuel lol. She should jump into life. if you do it to early and the mantle is not properly hot you will just black ya glass up.
  17. Please tell me your using paraffin  specially if you like ya eyebrows. If you get really stuck bud im only in Yarmouth, pm me if ya need help ill give ya my number
  18. If you pump her up and get pressure, if you then turn the fuel on do you here it hissing freely? meaning not when its alight
  19. Sounds like you have a blockage, have you access to an air line to blow out the fuel stem? cant say i ever noticed mine glowing
  20. True old saying The Man who never made a **** up, never made **** all
